    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had overcast skies and cooler temperatures.  The winds were from the north-east at 10-20 mph and the temperatures in the upper 50’s.

    With the weather windy and the ocean rough we have no reports of fish caught.  Although before yesterday evening a few big red drum were reported down on the Hatteras Beach.

    No boats out inshore or offshore today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had lots of rain for most of the day,  The winds were from the north-east at 10-20 mph and the temperatures in the mid 60’s.

    Today the rain made fishing a bit rough.  Scattered catches of sea mullet and blow toads were reported on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches.

    No boats out inshore or offshore today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunshine and gusty winds.  The winds were from the  south-west at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    Today the beaches were a bit rougher but the fishing was still pretty good.  There were sea mullet and blow toads caught along the Buxton beaches.  Over ramp 49 in Frisco we had one customer that caught about 25 blow toads around low tide by wading out to cast past the sand bar.  There were also some sea mullet and black drum caught.  Down on the Hatteras beach there were sea mullets and blow toads caught.  I did hear a report of some big bluefish being caught down near Hatteras Inlet.

    Some good puppy drum fishing was reported on the inshore boats in the Pamlico Sound today.  No boats fished offshore today due to the weather conditions

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had another day with plenty of sunshine.  We had south-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.

    Today the weather was so nice for the beaches.  Blow toads and sea mullet were caught on the Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches.  A few bluefish and puppy drum were caught on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches.

    No boats fishing inshore today.  The few boats that fished offshore had some decent yellowfin and blackfin tuna catches along with some dolphin, king mackerel and wahoo.  The mako sharks are still being caught.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had plenty of sunshine.  We had south-east winds 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    Fishing today was real good. One flounder caught on the Buxton beach.  Good catches of blow toads and sea mullet on the Frisco beach with a few spot mixed in.  Down on the Hatteras beach a few bluefish and some sea mullet and blow toads were caught.  One loan striper was also reported down there.

    No boats fishing inshore today.  The boats fishing offshore today had a few yellowfin and blackfin tuna, some citation wahoo and lots of mako sharks.  The tilefish and grouper bottom fishing was good today.  The “Tuna Duck” did have a real good day.  Mako shark, wahoo’s, yellowfin and blackfin tunas and dolphin were all caught.
