• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The Weather in Frisco was sunny today.  We had north-east winds 5-15 mph the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.

    Bluefish, sea mullet, flounder and gray trout were reported on the Avon beach.  The Buxton beaches had good bluefish and sea mullet.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was really good again.  The Big red drum were caught in large numbers last night and they are catching them right now as I type.  On the Frisco and Hatteras beach lots of bluefish were reported along with some sea mullet and pompano.

    The offshore boats had good wahoo and dolphin fishing with some king mackerel, yellowfin and blackfin tuna and dolphin mixed in.  Two sailfish were released.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The Weather in Frisco was mostly sunny today.  We had north-east winds 10-15 mph the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

    Bluefish were reported on the Avon beach.  The Buxton beaches had good bluefish and sea mullet.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was really good again.  A few puppy drum and bigger red drum were caught.  On the Frisco beach lots of bluefish were reported along with some sea mullet.  The Hatteras beaches had a few puppy drum, bluefish and sea mullet.

    The inshore boats had some good bluefishing today.  The offshore boats had good wahoo and blackfin tuna fishing with some king mackerel, yellowfin tuna and dolphin mixed in.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The Weather in Frisco was mostly sunny today.  We had north-west winds switching to the north-east 5-15 mph the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    Bluefish, sea mullet and pompano were reported on the Avon beach.  The Buxton beaches had good bluefish and pompano.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was really good with a few puppy drum mixed in.

    On the Frisco beach bluefish were reported along with some sea mullet and pompano.  One pompano was a citation 5 lb 12 oz caught by Francis Kennedy.

    The Hatteras beaches had a few puppy drum, bluefish, pompano and flounder.

    The inshore boats caught bluefish, spanish mackerel and some cobia.  The offshore boats had good fishing today.  Dolphin and wahoo fishing was really good with some king mackerel, yellowfin and blackfin tunas mixed in.  A few sailfish were released as well.  Some good trigger fish were brought up from the bottom.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The Weather in Frisco was partly cloudy today with more wind early.  We had north-east winds 15-20 mph early this morning diminishing to 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s again.

    Bluefish, spot and puppy drum were reported on the Avon beach.  The Buxton beaches had good bluefish using mullet rigs and lures.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was really good.

    On the Frisco beach bluefish were reported. The Hatteras beaches had a few puppy drum, bluefish and flounder.

    The inshore boats caught bluefish and a few flounder.  No boats fished offshore today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The Weather in Frisco was mostly sunny today.  We had west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

    Bluefish, sea mullet and puppy drum were reported on the Avon beach.  The Buxton beaches had real good bluefish using mullet rigs and lures.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was also good with reports of puppy and yearling drum being caught as well.

    On the Frisco beach, sea mullet, lots of bluefish and pompano were reported. The Hatteras beaches had a few pompano, bluefish and sea mullet with some puppy drum mixed in.

    The inshore boats caught bluefish and speckled trout.  Offshore, wahoo fishing was good with a few dolphin and blackfin tuna mixed in.  There were at least 15 sailfish released today.
