Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was mostly sunny with less humidity today.  We had north winds 10-15 mph today, which was a nice change.  The temperatures were in the mid 80’s.  The surf fishing report was slow today.  The only fish caught that I know of were some spot, croaker, sea mullet and bluefish up on the Avon beach.  The inshore fishing was pretty good today.  Their were decent bluefish and spanish mackerel caught.  The speckled and gray trout was pretty good too.  The offshore boats had a slow day.  Only a few dolphin, but the wahoo fishing was not bad.  Some sea bass and triggerfish were brought up from the bottom.  One white marlin was released.  Below is the “Tuna Duck” with their white marlin release.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was mostly cloudy with heavy rain, thunder and lighting in the morning.  The rest of the day was nice and sunny.  We had south-west winds 20-30 mph with gusts to 44 mph in the morning then 10-15 mph for the rest of the day.  After the weather cleared the fishing was pretty good.  The Buxton beach had some spanish mackerel, spot and sea mullet.  On the Frisco beach there were some sea mullet and a few pompano caught.  A few boats fished inshore today.  They had some spanish mackerel and bluefish outside Hatteras Inlet.  In the Pamlico Sound some good catches of speckled and gray trout with one cobia caught.  A few boats went offshore and had some good dolphin and wahoo fishing along with some good grouper fishing.  Most boats came in early due to the severe thunderstorms that formed over the sound and started heading their way.
