• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was mostly sunny and hot.  We had south-west winds again today at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  Fishing from the surf today was scattered.  On the Buxton beach there were some bluefish and sea mullet caught.  Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches the sea mullet were all that were caught.  The inshore fishing was good today.  Citation red drum and cobia were caught.    No boats fished offshore today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny again today.  We had south-west winds 10-15 mph with some gusts to 20 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  The Buxton beaches were slow but some sea mullet were caught.  Over on the southern beaches of Frisco and Hatteras some nice citation sea mullet were caught.  The inshore boats caught some speckled trout and lots of gray trout and bluefish.  The offshore fleet had a choppy day but some decent dolphin fishing.  The charter boat “Runaway”  had a great trip catching a Grand Slam today.  One blue marlin, one white marlin and 2 sailfish.  Pretty work guys.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny and hot, hot, hot again today.  We had south-west winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  The Buxton beach had a few sea mullet, spots and pompano.  On the Frisco beach a few sea mullet  were caught.  The Hatteras beach has been pretty consistent with citation sea mullets being caught.   The inshore boats had real good gray trout and bluefish catches with a few speckled trout caught.  The offshore fishing was slower today.  A few dolphin, wahoo and blackfin tuna were caught.  Also some amberjacks and one sailfish was released.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny, hot and humid once again today.  More south-west winds 10-15 mph with gusts to 22 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  The Avon beaches caught some sea mullet and croakers.  The Buxton and Frisco beaches had scattered catches of sea mullet and pompano.  Over ramp 55 in Hatteras some nice size sea mullets and some pompano were reported.  The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and some citation big red drum.  The offshore boats had good dolphin catches, a few wahoo and blackfin tuna.  Two white marlin and nice 5-600 lb blue marlin released aboard the “Bite Me” today.  The “Bite Me” photo today below.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    The Weather in Frisco was sunny, hot and humid again today.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph with some higher gusts later in the afternoon up to 23 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 80’s and felt like it was in the upper 90’s.  The Buxton beaches had some spanish mackerel early in the morning and a few sea mullet.  The Frisco beaches produced some nice pompano and sea mullet.  The inshore boats continue to catch lots of spanish mackerel and some nice speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound.  Some big red drum and some keeper size were caught today too.  The offshore boats had good dolphin fishing, a few wahoo and blackfin tuna.  Below is the “Sea Creature” with their sailfish they released today.
