• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We had a partly cloudy day with some sunshine.  The winds were from the north-east at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were around 50 degrees..

    Dog sharks and skates are still being caught out on Cape Point and on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches today.

    No Boats fishing today inshore.  There were a few boats out fishing today offshore.  Excellent tile fishing and lots of blackfin tunas being caught.  A few amberjacks and groupers also being caught.  No bluefin tunas reported today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We had a cloudy day with light rain.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 50’s.

    There are still lots of dog sharks and skates out on Cape Point and on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches today.

    No Boats fishing today inshore or offshore.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We had a sunny day today.  The winds were from the west at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.

    Lots of dog sharks and skates out on Cape Point today.

    No Boats fishing today inshore.  Only one boat out offshore chasing the bluefin tunas today.  Many bluefin tunas were spotted with only one 80′ tuna weighing 280 lbs was caught.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We had a cloudy day with some rain showers.  The winds were from the south-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.

    Not much to report today either.  Dog sharks and skates out on Cape Point and that’s about it.

    No Boats fishing today inshore or offshore due to bad weather.  We did hear of one larger bleufin tuna caught yesterday, a nice 84″ fish weighing 320 lbs.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We had a mostly sunny day.  The winds were from the north-east at 6-12 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 40’s.

    Not much to report today.  The north beaches were rough around Avon and Buxton but the Frisco and Hatteras beaches were pretty nice.  They had a few sea mullet and dog sharks.  .

    There were a few boats fishing offshore today.  They found the bluefin tunas in the 200 lb range.  A few dolphin and some real good bottom fishing was reported with triggerfish and black sea bass being caught.  Below is the “Godspeed” charter boat with their 200 lb 72″ bluefin tuna.
