Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was hot and humid.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.

Up on the Avon and Buxton beaches there were sea mullet, bluefish, spanish mackerel and some pompano caught.  On the Frisco and Hatteras beach sea mullet and a few bluefish were reported.

The inshore boats caught bluefish and spanish mackerel and some nice puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound.

The offshore boats caught some wahoo and dolphin with a sialfish released.  The trigger fishing and king mackerel bite was good.
