• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had partly sunny skies.  The winds were from the west at 5-10 mph with some higher gust throughout the day.  The temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    Up on the Avon beach spot and sea mullet were reported.  The Buxton beaches had a few pompano and sea mullet caught.  Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet were reported.  The Hatteras beaches had bluefish, sea mulllet and flounder reported.

    The inshore boats had good catches of bluefish, spanish mackerel and citation red drum in the Pamlico Sound today.

    The offshore boats had rough seas and caught a decent amount of dolphin.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a beautiful day.  We had light southerly winds and temperatures in the mid 80’s.

    Fishing is still on the slow side.  We did hear of a few pompano and sea mullet scattered today.

    The inshore boats had good catches of bluefish, spanish mackerel and red drum.

    The offshore boats had a few wahoo and fair dolphin catches.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a beautiful day across Hatteras Island. We had light and variable winds with a high around 85F.

    Today has been sort of slow across the island for catching.  There has been spanish mackerel and pompano caught in Buxton and Frisco had some sea mullet.m

    The inshore boats had some bluefish today.

    The offshore fleet had catches of dolphin, a few wahoo, some snapper and triggerfish.  There were a couple of sailfish and a white marlin.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny and nice.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    Up on the Avon beach sea mullet, bluefish and flounder were reported.  Around the Buxton beach sea mullet, spot and bluefish were caught  Around the Frisco and Hatteras beaches there were bluefish, sea mullet, pompano and a few flounder caught.

    The inshore boats caught lots of bluefish and some spanish mackerel and a few puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound today.

    The offshore boats caught a few dolphin, triggerfish and grouper from the bottom and a sailfish was released.

    Up on the Avon beach sea mullet, bluefish and spot were reported.  Around the Buxton beach sea mullet and bluefish were reported.  Around the Frisco and Hatteras beaches there were bluefish, sea mullet and a few pompano caught.

    The inshore boats caught bluefsih, spanish mackerel, puppy drum and a few cobia in the Pamlico Sound today

    The offshore boats caught a few dolphin and wahoo as well as tilefish and grouper from the bottom.  5 sailfish were released today.
