• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    We had another beautiful day on Hatteras Island.  The temperatures were in the upper 80’s and the winds were out of the southeast this afternoon at 5-8 mph.
    Avon had reports of pompano and sea mullet. Frisco had a few pompano and sea mullet.  Hatteras had some spanish mackerel and bluefish yesterday evening.  Hatteras was a repeat of yesterday with bluefish, flounder and sea mullet and added some pompano into the mix.
    The inshore boats had awesome bluefish blitz at the Point and drum in the sound.
    The offshore boats came back to the docks with nice catches of dolphin and some wahoo, along with some snapper and tile.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today was a beautiful day across the island.  We had temperatures in the mid 80’s and the winds were light and variable.
    Avon is reporting sea mullet, some spanish mackerel and some spot.  Buxton had some sea mullet also and some puppy drum.  Hatteras had reports of bluefish, small flounder and some sea mullet.
    The inshore boats had catches of gray and speckled trout and red drum.
    The offshore boats had catches of dolphin, wahoo and tuna. The bottomfishing was good today, with catches of triggerfish, snapper and tile.

  • Frisco Rod and Gun's Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the  south southwest at 4 mph with gusts up to 10 mph and the temperatures were in the low to mid 80’s.
    In Avon they are catching Sea Mullett, croaker and a few flounder.  Up on the Buxton beaches bluefish and sharks were caught.  Over on the Frisco beaches a few sea mullet were reported.  Down on Hatteras beaches bluefish and flounder were reported.
    The inshore boats had catches Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Gray Trout, Spanish mackerel, and Bluefish.
    The offshore boats had limits of dolphin, scattered black fin and mackerel, and wahoo. Bottom fishing was good down south

    Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the  south southwest at 8-14 mph  with gusts up to 23 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.
    In Avon they are catching Sea Mullett In Frisco they are catching Croaker.
    The inshore boats had catches Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Gray Trout, and Bluefish.
    The offshore boats caught Dolphin, Wahoo and Triggerfish.
