• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had mostly overcast skies.  The temperatures were in the mid 80’s and the winds were out of the west-south-west anywhere from 8-17 mph, with gusts up to 25.
    Avon Pier is reporting some pompano today.  On down in Buxton they had some catches of sea mullet and bluefish.  No reports from Frisco, other than it being rough and dirty.  At the end of the island, Hatteras we call it, had catches of sea mullet.
    The inshore boats had good catches of bluefish and red drum.
    The offshore boats stayed to the docks today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the  southwest from 9 to 21  mph with gusts up to 29 mph and temperatures were in the mid 80’s.
    In Buxton Pompano and Spanish Mackerel were reported.
    The inshore boats caught Bluefish and Red Drum.
    High winds and rough seas kept all the offshore boats at the dock today.

    Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the south south west at 4 mph with gusts up to 12 mph and temperatures were in the upper 80’s.
    Avon has had continuous reports of sharks being caught
    The inshore boats caught blues, red drum, and Spanish in the sound.
    No offshore boats went out today due to the wind

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the west south-west at 3 to 10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.
    In Frisco  Bluefish and Flounder were reported.
    The inshore boats caught Speckled Trout, Blue fish keeper Drum and  Cobia.
    The offshore boats caught Dolphin, Wahoo and  Blackfin Tuna. Bottom fishing was good they caught Sea Bass, Tile fish and Trigger fish.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the south south-west at 6 to 12 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.
    In Avon Sea Mullet were reported.  Around the Buxton beaches they are catching Bluefish.
    The inshore boats caught  Bluefish, Drum and Speckled Trout.
    The offshore boats caught King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel near shore. Offshore had catches of Dolphin, Wahoo, and some Blackfin Tuna. Bottom fishing brought in Tilefish, Grouper, Triggerfish, Amberjack, and Barracuda.
