• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the northwest at 8-13 mph with wind gust up to 20 mph.  Temperatures were in the upper 80’s.
    In Frisco Puppy Drum where reported.  In Hatteras they are catching Spanish Mackerel.

    Pictured is Micah Nickens from Moyock, NC. with a 3.69 lb Flounder caught at Hatteras Harbor right next to Carolina Girl on a trout rod with 6 lb test line.
    The inshore boats caught Bluefish along with some Red Drum.
    The offshore boats caught Wahoo and scattered Dolphin.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the west south-west at 9-12 mph and  the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.
    In Avon Pompano where reported.  In Buxton they are catching Sea Mullet and Spanish Mackerel.
    The inshore boats caught Bluefish and Red Drum.
    The offshore boats caught King Mackerel, gaffer and bailer Dolphin, Wahoo, and Blackfin Tuna. One Sailfish was released.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    It was a little more humid with sunny skies today.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph and  the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.
    Up on the Avon beach there were pompano, bluefish and sea mullet reported.  Around the Buxton beaches a few pompano and sea mullet were caught.  Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet were reported.
    The inshore boats caught bluefish, spanish mackerel and red drum in the Pamlico Sound today.
    The offshore boats caught dolphin, good wahoo and a few black fin tuna.  The bottom fishing was good with tilefish, snapper and grouper caught.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    We had another beautiful day on Hatteras Island.  The temperatures were in the upper 80’s and the winds were out of the southeast this afternoon at 5-8 mph.
    Avon had reports of pompano and sea mullet. Frisco had a few pompano and sea mullet.  Hatteras had some spanish mackerel and bluefish yesterday evening.  Hatteras was a repeat of yesterday with bluefish, flounder and sea mullet and added some pompano into the mix.
    The inshore boats had awesome bluefish blitz at the Point and drum in the sound.
    The offshore boats came back to the docks with nice catches of dolphin and some wahoo, along with some snapper and tile.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today was a beautiful day across the island.  We had temperatures in the mid 80’s and the winds were light and variable.
    Avon is reporting sea mullet, some spanish mackerel and some spot.  Buxton had some sea mullet also and some puppy drum.  Hatteras had reports of bluefish, small flounder and some sea mullet.
    The inshore boats had catches of gray and speckled trout and red drum.
    The offshore boats had catches of dolphin, wahoo and tuna. The bottomfishing was good today, with catches of triggerfish, snapper and tile.
