• Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we was sunny with temperatures reaching 90 today.  The winds were from the east north-east at 5 mph to 12 mph.

    In Avon Sea Mullet and Pompano reported.  Buxton had catches of Bluefish and Pompano.  Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beach Pompano, Sea Mullet, Bluefish and small Cobia were reported.

    The inshore boats had catches of  Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel and small Cobia.

    The offshore boats caught Dolphin, a few King Mackerel, and bottom fishing included Triggerfish, Tilefish, and Grouper.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we was sunny with calm winds.  The winds were from the east north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.

    Up on the Avon beaches bluefish, sea mullet, pompano and skates were reported.  On the Buxton beaches bluefish, pompano, sea mullet and sharks were reported.  Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches pompano, sea mullet and bluefish were caught.

    The inshore boats had catches of bluefish, Spanish mackerel and a few cobia in the Pamlico Sound.

    The offshore boats had limits of dolphin and 3 white marlin and sailfish releases.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we reached a high of 90F. It Was slick calm this morning, we had little to no wind at all till this afternoon.  Then the winds were 6-10 mph out of the southeast.

    The reports from Avon are sea mullet, pompano and bluefish.  Buxton had reports of sea mullet and pompano.  Here in Frisco we had a good day.  We did some paperwork for some pompano and a sea mullet today.  Hatteras had sea mullet and bluefish.

    The inshore boats had catches of bluefish, Spanish mackerel and red drum

    The offshore boats had catches of dolphin and a few tilefish.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies. The winds were from the north-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.

    Today we reached a high of 89F.  It felt a lot hotter with the humidity and little to no wind that came out of the southeast.

    There are reports of scattered bluefish, with an occasional spanish mackerel caught.  Buxton is reporting  pompano and sea mullet.  Hatteras is reporting bluefish.

    The inshore boats had catches of cobra, spanish mackerel and speckled trout.

    The offshore boats came back to the docks with limits of bailer size dolphin.  There were a couple of blue marlin released today.

    Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the north-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.

    Up on the Avon beaches bluefish, croaker, sea mullet and spot were reported.  Around the Buxton beaches bluefish, pompano and sea mullet were reported.  Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet and pompano were caught.  Down on the Hatteras beach spanish mackerel, bluefish and sea mullet were caught.

    The inshore boats caught bluefish and spanish mackerel in  Pamlico sound today.

    The offshore boats had good dolphin catches, some yellowfin tuna, a big eye tuna and 2 sailfish and 2 blue marlin were released.
