    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    It was rainy all day today.  The winds were from the south-east at 17-24 mph with some gust to 42 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    Fishing today was slow with all the rain and wind but you can always catch Stripers at the docks.

    A few inshore boats went out today and caught Bluefish and Red Drum.

    The offshore boats stayed to the docks today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was rainy and windy.  The winds were from the south-east at 15-25 mph with some gust to 27 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    Fishing today was slow with all the rain and wind.

    A few inshore boats went out today and caught bluefish and red drum in the Pamlico Sound.

    The offshore boats stayed to the docks today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

     

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today started we started out with rain, but cleared out of here by mid morning.  The temperatures were in the low 80’s and winds were 10-25 mph with some higher gusts,coming out of the south-south-east.

    Fishing from the beach is tough.  Sea mullet is being caught in Avon and Buxton today and Buxton also had a few pompano.  Avon Pier closed early due to the conditions.

    A few inshore boats made it out today and had catches of red drum.

    The offshore boats stayed to the docks today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hattersas Island.

    Today we reached a high of 89F.  All winds came out of a southerly direction, making for the heat.  The winds were anywhere from 7-15 mph.

    The beach reports have been slow due to all this weather.  Folks did manage to catch small pompano, sea mullet and a few croaker in Buxton.  There were some sea mullet and spot caught in Frisco.  There were a few puppy drum caught on the sound side also.

    Here is a reminder about rip currents and what to look for.  Hatteras Island Rescue Squad teaches a class every Monday morning at 9:30 on rip current safety and beach hazards.

    There are no inshore or offshore report for today.

    Today we had clouds and rain from a swell to the east.  The winds were from the S at 9 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.  The temperatures were in the low to mid 80’s with high humidity.

    Scattered bluefish, sea mullet and pompano scattered along the beaches.

    No boats went out today due to weather
