• Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had a temperature of 84F and the winds were out of the south-south-west around 5-10 mph.

    Avon is reporting sea mullet, bluefish and spanish mackerel today.  Buxton is reporting spanish mackerel and bluefish.  Here in Frisco there were bluefish, sea mullet and pompano.  Hatteras had puppy drum.  Private boats caught some cobia anchored in the inlet today.

    The inshore boats had good catches of cobia, some spanish mackerel and good clamming.

    The offshore boats had excellent catches of dolphin and blackfin tuna.  They also caught some triggerfish and a few wahoo.  There was also a blue marlin release.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies with temps in the low 80’s..  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph.

    Up on the Avon beach cobia, sea mullet and pompano were reported.  Down on the Buxton beaches bluefish, spanish mackerel, some cobia and sea mullet were caught.  Over on the Frisco beach citation sea mullet and bluefish were caught.  Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish, pompano and sea mullet were caught.

    The inshore boats had a good day of catching cobia, bluefish, spanish mackerel and some puppy drum.

    The offshore boats had good dolphin fishing, a few black fin tuna and yellow fin tuna, a few nice wahoo and one blue marlin release.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies with temps in the low 80’s..  The winds were from the south at 5-10 mph.

    Up on the Avon beach cobia, sea mullet and spanish mackerel were reported.  Down on the Buxton beaches bluefish and spanish mackerel were caught on lures and sea mullet on blood worms.  Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet on blood worms.  Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish and sea mullet were caught.

    The inshore boats had a good day of catching cobia, bluefish, spanish mackerel and some king mackerel near shore.

    The offshore boats had slow trolling bites with a few dolphin and black fin tuna and lots of sharks eating the yellowfin tuna.  Several bottom fish were caught today including triggerfish, silver snapper, grouper and tilefish.  One blue marlin was released.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies with temps in the low 80’s..  The winds were from the north-west from 8 to 13 mph.

    In  Avon beach Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel and Cobia were reported.  Around the Buxton beaches Sea Mullet were caught.  Over on the Frisco beach citation Sea Mullet were reported.  Down on the Hatteras beach Sea Mullet were reported.

    The inshore boats caught some Cobia, Spanish Mackerel and Drum.

    The offshore boats released a few Blue Marlin. They caught Dolphin and Tuna. Bottom fishing was good with Triggerfish and Vermillion Snapper.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had partly cloudy skies with some scattered rain.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    Up on the Avon beach sea mullet, bluefish and spanish mackerel were reported.  Around the Buxton beaches sea mullet, bluefish and some sharks were caught.  Over on the Frisco beach a few sea mullet were reported.  Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish, sea mullet and a few cobia were caught.

    The inshore boats caught red drum, sea mullet and bluefish.  Several cobia were caught in and around Hatteras Inlet today.

    The offshore boats caught a few dolphin and black fin tuna.  There were 3 blue marlin and a sailfish released.
