• Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was another beautiful day.  We had east winds this afternoon around 5-10 mph with temperatures in the mid 70’s.

    Avon is reporting puppy drum and bluefish.  Buxton is reporting puppy drum and sea mullet.  Frisco reports bluefish, a couple of blow toads and puppy drum.  Hatteras has reported puppy drum.

    The inshore anglers had a good time catching drum and the speckled trout were of nice size and limits were caught.

    The offshore boats had good catches of blackfin tuna and dolphin.  The boats that fished bottom had lots of triggergfish, snapper and amberjacks.  The wahoo bite was scattered.  There was a blue marlin released today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was nice sunny and calm.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.

    Good fishing today from all the beaches for the CCFW anglers.  Up on the Avon beach bluefish, sea mullet, puppy drum and a citation red drum were reported. Around the Buxton beaches bluefish, sea mullet, spot and puppy drum were caught.  Over on the Frisco beach bluefish and spot were caught.  Down on the Hatteras beach puppy drum and bluefish were caught.

    The inshore boats caught lots of big red drum, a few speckled trout, bluefish and gray trout in the Pamlico Sound today.

    The offshore boats had dolphin, wahoo, blackfin tuna, king mackerel and 4 sailfish were released.  Vermilion snapper and trigger fish have been caught off the bottom.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Beautiful day across Hatteras Island high in the mid 70’s with northwest winds.  The winds were around 3-5 mph.

    In Avon they are catching Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet.  In Buxton  Red Drum and some bluefish.  Hatteras Flounder have been reported.

    Inshore charters caught Flounder, Sheepshead, Red Drum, Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

    Offshore Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna were caught. Bottom fishing was pretty good with Triggerfish and Vermillion Snapper. A Blue Marlin and a Sailfish were released.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    It was in the mid 70’s across Hatteras Island with north winds.  The winds were around 6-10 mph.

    In Avon they are catching Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet and a few black drum. In Buxton a small Striper was reported and Bluefish.  Frisco there were Puppy Drum, and scattered Bluefish.

    Inshore charters caught Speckled Trout today and the Drum were biting again.

    One offshore boat went out and returned with a good catch of King Mackerel.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    It was in the low 70’s across Hatteras Island with north winds.  The winds were around 7-11 mph with gusts from 15-20 mph.

    Avon has scattered Bluefish and Sea Mullet. In Buxton by the jetty Flounder and Puppy Drum.  At Cape Point Red Drum from 19 to 38 inches.  Frisco there were Puppy Drum, Pompano, Flounder and small Bluefish.  Hatteras nice size Flounder was reported.

    Inshore charters had a good day catching and releasing big Red Drum.

    Offshore fleet stayed to the docks today.
