Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today’s weather was nice again. The winds were from the south south-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.

Up on the Buxton beaches some sea mullet, bluefish, flounder and puppy drum were caught. Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet and a few pompano were reported. Down on the Hatteras beach puppy drum, bluefish and flounder were caught.

The inshore boats caught big red drum, puppy drum, speckled trout, flounder, spanish mackerel and bluefish in the Pamlico Sound today.

No reports from offshore today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today’s weather was nice with low humidity. The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

Up on the Buxton beaches some sea mullet, bluefish and puppy drum were caught. Down on the Hatteras beach puppy drum, bluefish and flounder were caught.

The inshore boats caught citation red drum, speckled trout, flounder, spanish mackerel and bluefish in the Pamlico Sound today.

The offshore boats had scattered dolphin and blackfin tuna, good wahoo action and some tile fish and grouper from the bottom.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today’s weather was a little cooler. the winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.

Up on the Buxton beaches some croaker and sea mullet were caught. Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet were reported.

The inshore boats caught some citation red drum, a few speckled trout and bluefish in the Pamlico Sound today.

The offshore boats had scattered dolphin, a few wahoo and blackfin tuna and some trigger fish and grouper from the bottom.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today’s weather was a repeat of yesterday, right down to the winds. The winds were out of the southwest between 11-16 mph and temperatures in the mid 80’s.

The fishing is getting a little bit better today, from Rodanthe down to Buxton there were reports of croaker, bluefish, sea mullet and pompano. Frisco had a small striper, yes striper, also bluefish. Hatteras had puppy drum.

The inshore boats had keeper drum and speckled trout today.

The offshore boats stayed in due to the winds again today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had clear skies and temperatures in the mid 80’s. The winds were out of the southwest today. They started out around 16 mph, but decreased a little to 12 mph this evening.

It’s slow fishing on the island with all this southwest wind, especially on the southern end. The northern beaches had catches of croaker and sea mullet today. Avon Pier had the same and some pompano added to the mix. No report from Buxton or Frisco. Hatteras had a few croaker.

The inshore boats that ventured out today caught speckled trout and keeper drum.

No offshore boats went out today due to the winds and seas.
