    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a wind event and temperatures dropped throughout the day.  By the afternoon we  ended up with temperatures in the low 40’s, that’s without the wind chill.  The north-north-east winds at a steady 15-20 mph with higher gust made a miserable day.

    There are no fishing reports of any kind today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a beautiful day.  We had temperatures near 70F, with beautiful, sunny skies.  The winds were out of the south-south-west around 7 mph.

    Buxton is reporting blow toads, flounder and black drum.

    The Tuna Duck was out today, here’s the result using poppers.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    It was a beautiful day here on Hatteras Island.  We had a high of 55F, with light north winds around 5 mph.

    There were blow toads caught here in Frisco today.  On the soundside in Hatteras the puppy drum are still biting, with a few keepers being put in the coolers.  At Canadian Hole there were some small stripers caught by those kayak fishing.

    There were no inshore or offshore boats out today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    We had a whirlwind of weather today.  The temperatures started out almost 50F.  It didn’t stay that way though.  The temperatures dipped down a little and by lunch it was hailing a little outside.  The temperatures by the afternoon were at 43F.  We had north-north-west winds 9-12 mph, with higher gusts.

    We are still hearing of some puppy drum being caught on the soundside in Hatteras.  There are quite a few undersize, with a few keepers mixed in.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a rain event.  We reached a high of 57F and the winds were west around 10 mph.

    There were some blow toads caught on the north side of the Point.  Sharks and skates were reported being caught on both sides of the Point.  There has been some puppy drum and black drum being caught on the soundside in Hatteras.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.
