    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny and warm with light winds.  The winds were from the south-east at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    Out at Cape Point in Buxton there were big bluefish, puppy drum and sharks.  Around the Buxton beach bluefish and puppy drum were caught.

    The inshore boats caught big bluefish and big drum in the Pamlico Sound today.  The offshore boats had great black fin tuna, dolphin, king mackerel and wahoo fishing today.  The bottom bite for big black sea bass and vermilion snapper was good too.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was cloudy in the morning with sunshine by the afternoon.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    There is a lot of swell today so fishing out at Cape Point was the best spot to be.  Big bluefish, puppy drum and some flounder were reported.

    The inshore boats caught big bluefish in the Pamlico Sound today.  The offshore boats had great black fin tuna catches with a few gaffer dolphin and wahoo reported.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had lots of rain most of the day.  The afternoon cleared for calm winds and sunshine.  The winds were from the south at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    Out at Cape Point in Buxton there were bluefish, big and small and flounder caught.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a bit dreary at times.  We had a high of 75F, with on and off rain.  The wind has really picked up this evening and will continue to blow tonight out of the east 24mph plus.

    There were a few bluefish and sea mullet caught between the rain showers today.

    There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Chilly windy day today. Temperatures were in the low 60’s and winds were from the North-East at 10-15 mph.

    Slow fishing again today. The was still big bluefish biting all over the beach from salvo all the way to Hatteras. There was also scattered sea-mullet, blow-toads, and some croaker biting as well.

    No inshore report for today.

    Offshore was slow due to winds but there was still some fish biting. There was a fair catch of black-fin tuna and dolphin.
