    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The weather was much better today. The temperatures were in the mid 40’s. Winds were from the North-West at 5-10 mph.

    Better fishing off the beach today. At the point in Buxton there was scattered puppy drum and bluefish caught. Here in Frisco there was sea-mullet and bluefish biting. There was a  lot of sharks biting today. In Hatteras there was bluefish and sea-mullet caught.

    No inshore report for today.

    Not much going on offshore today. Only a few boats made it out and reported good bottom fishing for black sea-bass.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Windy for most of the day today. This morning temperatures were in the upper 60’s and winds were from the South West. Early in the afternoon the winds shifted to the north and temperatures dropped to the around 50.

    Some good fishing this morning before the bad weather. In Buxton there was sea-mullet, blowtoads, bluefish, and scattered puppy drum.

    Slow inshore fishing this morning. There was a few puppy drum and some small flounder.

    No offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny and really warm  The winds were from the south at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    Around the Buxton beaches a few puppy drum were caught.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton more sharks were reported.  The Frisco Pier area had the best report with blow toads, sea mullet and some bluefish caught.  We have some fresh finger mullet caught this afternoon.

    A little bit of near shore action with bluefish, sea bass and albacore caught.

    The offshroe fleet caught black fin tuna, triggerfish and black sea bass.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was mostly sunny with more warm temperatures.  The winds were from the south south-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

    Around the Buxton beaches and out at Cape Point puppy drum and sharks were reported.  Some decent catches of blow toads and a few bluefish around Frisco Pier.  Down at the Hatteras beaches bluefish were caught.

    No boats out today inshore or offshore.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a beautiful day on Hatteras Island.  We had nice sunny skies and the temperature was near 60F, with light winds.

    Buxton has had reports of sea mullet and bluefish.  The Point has continued to have the big sharks.  Ramp 49 had reports of a few bluefish and blow toads.

    Today was a pretty day for a near-shore charter.  There were bluefish and sea bass caught today.  Here’s a picture of Bak Bar Sportfishing Charter with a couple of bluefish caught today.
