    Happy Father’s Day

Today we had clear and sunny skies, with a high near 80F.  The winds continued out of the north-north-east, blowing a good 9-12 mph with higher gusts.

There is no reports for the northern beaches, it’s just too rough.  Frisco had reports of a few sea mullet and croaker.  Hatteras had reports of flounder, sea mullet, black drum, puppy drum and pompano.

The inshore boats stayed in the sound today and had catches of red drum, speckled trout and cobia.  They are also getting some clams.  Pictured below is Hang On with a nice puppy drum caught using light tackle.
