    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Beautiful day here today. Rain showers were all around but we seem to stay dry somehow. The temperature was in the lower 70’s today. We had winds from the South-West at 5-10 mph.

    From the beach today the sea-mullet and blow-toads were everywhere from Avon to Hatteras.

    Offshore today there was a great bite from the gaffer dolphin. There was a good catch of yellow-fin and black-fin tuna. There was a few wahoo caught and a few marlin spotted.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today started out kind of cloudy but cleared up as the day went on. Temperature’s were in the upper 60’s. The winds were from the south at 5-10 mph.

    From the beach today the fishing was great. There was sea-mullet and blow-toads all along the beach from Avon to Hatteras today. In Buxton and Hatteras there was also some bluefish biting.

    Offshore today there was some good fishing.  The yellow-fin and black-fin tuna fishing was great today. Amberjack and dolphin were caught as well today. There were a few marlin spotted today also. from the bottom there was some black sea-bass and trigger fish biting.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny with cooler temperatures..  The winds were from the north-east at 15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.

    We have only had some blow toads reported on the Frisco Beach today.

    No boats fished inshore today.

    The offshore boats had some gaffer dolphin, yellowfin and blackfin tuna action. The bottom fishing was good today with snapper, amberjack and trigger fish.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny and warm with light winds.  The winds were from the west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    The Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches reported good blow toad action with a few sea mullet mixed in.

    No boats fished inshore today.

    The offshore boats had good blackfin tuna fishing, some nice gaffer dolphin and a few yellowfin tuna.  The trigger fish action was good from the bottom.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today is a beautiful day here on Hatteras Island.  The winds have finally died down and the sun is shinning brightly!  We had light north winds today that should switch to the southwest this evening.

    The Buxton beach is reporting some blow toads, a few sheepshead and small flounder.  There is a few blow toads in Frisco and Hatteras as well.

    A few boats ventured offshore today.  They had catches of dolphin, yellowfin and blackfin tuna and bonito mackerel.
