Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was another sunny and warm day. We had north-east winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.

The fishing today in Buxton was a little slow with only a few blow toads and bluefish caught. Out at Cape Point in Buxton a few puppy drum were reported. Over on the Frisco Beach there were some blow toads, sea mullet and some puppy drum reported. Down on the Hatteras beach blue fish, sea mullet, puppy drum and some blow toads were caught.

There were no inshore or offshore reports today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was sunny and warm. We had south-west winds 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.

The fishing today in Buxton was good. Some bluefish, blow toads, puppy drum and sea mullet were all caught. Over on the Frisco beach a few puppy drum were reported.

The inshore boats had real good puppy drum fishing. The offshore boats had some good fishing today. The blackfin tuna action was good with a few dolphin, wahoo and a blue marlin was caught. The bottom fishing was good today with grouper and sea bass caught. The picture below is a nice grouper caught aboard the “Godspeed” charter boat today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had cloudy skies for most of the day. Winds were out of the north-north-east, decreasing through the day. We had a high around 55F this afternoon, when the sun finally peeked out.

There was a few fish caught today. A few puppy drum and bluefish were caught at Ramp 55. There was even a nice 10lb bluefish landed on the sound side in Hatteras today. Erik Peirson caught this nice bluefish, before the weather turned for the better.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was rainy and windy on the island today. We had north-north-east winds 25 to 35 mph, with temperatures in the mid 50’s.

For those that braved the winds and rain caught some sharks.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Rainy and windy days are still here. Today the temperature was in the lower to mid 50’s. Winds were from the North-East at 10-20mph.

There isn’t much of a fishing report today. There were a few dog sharks for the brave souls that tried.

There is no inshore or offshore report today.
