Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The weather today was great for fishing. The temperature was in the upper 70’s with a nice breeze from the south west at 10-15mph. The sun was shining with a few scattered clouds and rain setting in later in the night.

From the beaches today the fishing was great. In Avon the sea-mullet, blowtoads, bluefish and spot were biting. In Buxton the puppy drum and big drum were biting at the point. From the Frisco beaches and black drum puppy drum and bluefish were biting. Hatteras beach had reports of black drum bluefish and pompano.

iInshore today the bluefish and drum fishing was great. Boats that fish near shore today caught some nice size king mackerel.

Offshore today the wahoo and dolphin fishing continued to be good for the boats. There was a few sailfish released today also.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was the day to be out in the beautiful weather. The temperature was around mid 70’s throughout the day with winds starting from the north switching south in the afternoon blowing under 5mph.

From the Avon beach today the fish were biting great. There was bluefish, sea-mullet, drum, spot, croaker, and even some blowtoads. In Buxton the bluefish and drum were biting. from the frisco beach there was flounder, sea-mullet and drum biting. In Hatteras there was a few flounder and bluefish caught.

Inshore today there was a good bluefish bite with some puppy drum and some few nice flounder.

Offshore today the dolphin and wahoo were biting good with a few blackfin and sailfish.

The offshore boats had scattered dolphin catches and good blackfin tuna fishing with some decent wahoo catches and excellent tilefish from the bottom.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was nice and cool with sunny skies. The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

Up on the Avon beach the bluefish and sea mullet were reported.  On the Buxton beaches there were bluefish, flounder and puppy drum caught.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton the big red drum, yearling drum and puppy drum were caught in the morning and late afternoon.  There were also some bluefish caught.   Over on the Frisco beach some nice keeper flounder were caught along with some small pompano and sea mullet.  Down on the Hatteras beach some bluefish, puppy drum and flounder were caught.

The inshore boats had good puppy drum fishing in the Pamlico Sound.  The spanish mackerel bite was pretty good just outside Hatteras Inlet.

The offshore boats had scattered dolphin catches and good blackfin tuna fishing with some decent wahoo catches and excellent tilefish from the bottom.
