• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had overcast skies with cooler temperatures and rain showers off and on all day.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph.  The temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    The fishing was better today.  We had reports of bluefish, a few spot, puppy drum  and pompano on the Buxton beach.  Over on the  Frisco and Hatteras beaches there were sea mullet, pompano, bluefish and croakers caught.

    The boats that fished inshore today caught bluefish, a few puppy drum, speckled and gray trout.

    The offshore wahoo fishing was good today with a few dolphin and a few white marlin released..

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had overcast skies with cooler temperatures.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-15 mph with higher gusts.  The temperatures were in the low 80’s.

    The fishing was a little slow today.  Only some sea mullet reported on the Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches.

    A few boats fished inshore today.  They caught bluefish, puppy drum and speckled trout.

    Due to the weather, there is no offshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today the sky was a little overcast.  The winds were from the west-south-west at 10-15mph with higher gusts.  The temperature was in the mid 80’s.

    The Frisco beach had some sea mullet and black drum.  The Buxton beach had some sea mullet, puppy drum and pompano.  The Hatteras beach had catches of small sea mullet, small pompano, flounder and small blues.

    Due to the weather, there is no offshore or inshore report for today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had mostly sunny skies  The winds were from the south-west at 5-15 mph and the temperature were in the upper 80’s

    Today on the Buxton and Hatteras beaches a  few blues, spanish, sea mullet, spot, croaker, pompano  were reported. There were also small flounder reported on the Hatteras beaches.   The  Frisco beaches caught a few bluefish, sea mullet and pompano.

    The inshore boats had gray and speckled trout catches in the Pamlico Sound.

    The offshore boats had good wahoo catches, with a few citations over 40 pounds. There were also a few dolphin and scattered catches of blackfin tuna.  There were 5 sailfish released out of the Hatteras fleet today.

    Today we had more sunny skies  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s

    Today on the Buxton and Hatteras beaches a  few pompano, sea mullet, croaker, spot, bluefish and spanish mackerel were reported.  Out at Cape Point good spanish mackerel and bluefish were reported.  The  Frisco beaches caught a few  sea mullet and pompano. 

    The inshore boats had puppy drum and bluefish catches.in the Pamlico Sound.

    The offshore boats had good wahoo catches and some dolphin with a few sailfish released.
