• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had mostly sunny skies.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.

    Fishing today from the Buxton beach was real good with some speckled trout and flounder caught.  Also some bluefish and sea mullet were reported.  Over on the Frisco beach was slower with some black drum and bluefish caught.

    No boats out inshore today.  The offshore fishing is still really good with lots of gaffer dolphin caught.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had one warm sunny day.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.

    Fishing today from the Buxton beach was pretty good with lots of sea mullet, some bluefish and black drum.  The Frisco and Hatteras beach reported bluefish and a few sea mullet.

    The inshore boats had a real good day catching puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound.  Good bluefish reported as well.  The offshore boats had another day with excellent catches of dolphin with limits and a few blackfin tuna and wahoo catches.  One white marlin was released and a blue marlin was released.   Some nice grouper were brought up from the bottom.  The photo below was the “Good Times” charter boat with one of their dolphins and grouper.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had another sunny day.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    On the Buxton beach some bluefish, sea mullet and spot were reported.  The Frisco beaches had some black drum, sea mullet, blow toads and bluefish.  Down on the Hatteras beach some bluefish and sea mullet were caught.

    The inshore boats had a real good day catching red drum, bluefish and a few gray trout.  The offshore boats had excellent catches of dolphin with limits.  Good blackfin tuna catches and some wahoo.  One white marlin was released.  The picture below is the “Tuna Duck” charter boat with their white marlin.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the south at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

    Today the beaches were nice and sunny.  On the Buxton beach some bluefish and sea mullet were reported.  The Frisco beaches had a few more black drum, sea mullet and bluefish.  The Hatteras beaches produced bluefish, sea mullet and a few flounder.

    No inshore boats out today.  The offshore boats had good catches of dolphin with some limits.  A few wahoo, blackfin and yellowfin tuna were also caught.  One white marlin was released.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies most of the day, with rain showers in the afternoon.  The winds were in the south-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.

    Today there were pretty good catches of bluefish and sea mullet on the Buxton beaches.  The Frisco beach had some nice black drum and good catches of bluefish and sea mullet.  The Hatteras beaches had some nice bluefish caught.

    No inshore boats out today.  The offshore boats reported good dolphin, a few yellowfin and blackfin tuna and some citation wahoo.  The “Godspeed” charter boat had a good catch of Dolphin, one of the big ones are pictured below.
