• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The weather in Frisco was mostly sunny with a few rain sprinkles today.  We had south-west winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were around 80 degrees again today.

    Bluefish and a few puppy drum were reported on the Avon beach.  The Buxton beaches had a few bluefish, some spot and flounder.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was pretty good again today with a few puppy drum.  On the Frisco beach some bluefish were reported.  The Hatteras beach had some bluefish, some puppy drum, spot and a few flounder were reported.

    Good Luck to all of the Capital City Four Wheeler’s Fishing Tournament entrants which starts tomorrow morning.  This is a 24 hour fishing tournament.

    The inshore boats had another day of real good speckled trout fishing.  Some good flounder and spanish mackerel were also caught.  Only a few boats fishing offshore today.  They had scattered catches of wahoo, dolphin and blackfin tuna.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The weather in Frisco was partly sunny with a few rain showers early in the morning today.  We had south-west winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were around 80 degrees.  The swell from tropical storm Rafael has diminished more today.

    Bluefish,sea mullet, a few speckled trout and puppy drum were reported on the Avon beach.  The Buxton beaches had good bluefish.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was pretty good today with a few puppy drum.  On the Frisco and Hatteras beach some bluefish and a few puppy drum were reported

    The inshore boats had another day of real good gray and speckled trout fishing.  Some good flounder and lots of bluefish being caught.  Boats fishing offshore today had good wahoo bites and scattered dolphin, yellowfin and blackfin tuna.  A few sailfish were released.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The Weather in Frisco was sunny and nice today.  We had north-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.  The swell from tropical storm Rafael is causing some difficult fishing conditions but fish are still being caught.

    Bluefish and spot were reported on the Avon beach.  The Buxton beaches had good bluefish and some flounder.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was pretty good today.   On the Frisco and Hatteras beach lots of bluefish were reported along with some puppy drum and flounder.

    The inshore boats had real good gray and speckled trout fishing.  Some good flounder and lots of bluefish being caught.  A few boats made it offshore today and they had a few wahoo, dolphin and scattered blackfin tuna.  3 sailfish were released.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The Weather in Frisco was partly sunny today.  We had north winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

    Bluefish, sea mullet and flounder were reported on the Avon beach.  The Buxton beaches had good bluefish and sea mullet.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was really good today.  A few big red drum are being caught this evening.  On the Frisco and Hatteras beach lots of bluefish were reported along with some spot, sea mullet, flounder and puppy drum.

    No boats fished today due to the weather.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The Weather in Frisco was mostly sunny today with some rain showers in the afternoon.  We had south-west winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.

    Bluefish, sea mullet, puppy drum and speckled trout were reported on the Avon beach.  The Buxton beaches had good bluefish, a few puppy drum and sea mullet.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was really good again all day.  A few big red drum were caught this evening.  On the Frisco and Hatteras beach lots of bluefish were reported along with some sea mullet, croaker, spot, flounder and puppy drum.

    The inshore boats had a good day of bluefish, flounder, some speckled and gray trout.  The offshore boats had another good day of wahoo fishing.  The dolphin and blackfin tuna fishing was decent. Several citation grouper were caught along with three sailfish released.
