Today the weather in Frisco was another sunny day.  We had west south-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.  The Buxton beaches reported catches of bluefish and sea mullet.  The Frisco beach had some nice pompano and spanish mackeral catches today.  Down on the Hatteras beaches there were some sea mullet and bluefish caught.  The inshore boats had real good spanish mackerel and bluefish with a decent catch of gray and speckled trout.  Offshore today there were some nice size gaffer dolphin caught along with some good bottom fish.  Sea bass, tilefish, grouper and snapper.  Today the “Islander” boat out of Odens Dock in Hatteras won the ladies15th Keli Wagner Lady Angler tourney.  They released two blue marlin and two white marlin to score the most points ever in this event.  The Big Rock Tournament starts on Monday.  Picture below is with the “Native Son” charter boat and their white marlin release.

Today the weather in Frisco was nice and sunny.  We had west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.  Fishing on the Buxton beach was slow.   A few blues caught and that’s about it.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches had some pompano and sea mullet. The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and bluefish.  The speckled trout fishing really picked up today and the gray trout fishing was pretty good too.  The offshore fleet had real good gaffer and bailer dolphin fishing.  A few wahoo and blackfin tuna were also caught.  The bottom fishing was good with vermilion snapper, triggerfish, sea bass, grouper and a few tile fish.  One sailfish was released today with many other billfish spotted.  Below a nice 55 lb gaffer dolphin from the “Sea Creature”  charter boat.
