    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had partly cloudy skies.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 50’s.

    The Frisco beach around the Pier had some puppy drum action today.

    No boats fished inshore or offshore today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had partly sunny skies with light winds.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 40’s.

    Out at Cape Point in Buxton sharks and skates were reported. The Frisco beach at Ramp 49 had a real good day of puppy drum fishing.

    No boats fished inshore or offshore today.  Tomorrow looks to be a good day with many boats heading offshore.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was warm and sunny with calm winds.  The winds were from the west south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

    There were puppy drum and a few yearling size drum caught out at Cape Point in Buxton today. The Frisco beach at Ramp 49 had a scattered puppy drum bite and a few sea mullet were caught around the Hatteras beaches.

    There were a few puppy drum starting to show up around the Hatteras Inlet area in the Pamlico Sound today.

    The offshore boats caught some nice tilefish and amberjack.  There were some bluefin tuna spotted with none hooked up.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had mostly sunny skies with a high of 64F.  The winds started blowing out of the north-north-east at 8 mph.  Then after lunch it switched to the southwest at 11 to 17 mph.

    Today was slow on the catching.  I’m sure there was a few drum caught, just not a lot!

    There’s no inshore or offshore report for today!

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was a beautiful, sunny day here on Hatteras Island.  We reached a high of 63F today, with mostly northwest winds blowing 6-12 mph.

    Cape Point was the hot spot again today.  There were puppy drum, yearling size drum, skates and even a few small sharks.  Pictured below is Sam Shaw from Fredericksburg, Va.  He caught this 30″ drum and a few more on the south side of Cape Point today.
